Hewitson Walker would like to say a wholehearted well done to Sarah Goddard and our other nominated consultants Simon Winter and Leesa Mortemore for the “PQ Magazine’s Recruitment Consultant of the Year”. Sarah was very pleased to walk away with the award on Monday 23rd February in this hotly contested field. Congratulations to all three consultants, it was an amazing achievement to have three HW consultants nominated in such a competitive category and to have one win, well-done Sarah.
The evening was heavily attended and a resounding success in the plush surroundings of the Conran restaurant and venue Quaglino’s, and celebrated the exceptional achievements from within our industry and broader accountancy sector. Hosted by the self proclaimed “British Will Smith”, Richard Blackwood the evening moved along swiftly with plenty of laughs, and gags. “Accountants are boring right”. The old ones are the best, and even some unwitting humour from Graham Hambly the PQ Editor and co-host, pretending to be a gangsta, very Richard Madeley, “Westside”.
All who attended had a fabulous time and enjoyed celebrating their own and colleague’s successes from last year. Congratulations to our Sarah, Simon and Leesa and we can all look forward to the 2010 awards when hopefully we can look forward to more nominations and winners.
